Quick Cards for Men

Whether it's for Father's Day which is just
around the corner, a birthday or "just because", we all need cards for men.
Joyce will show you how to put together a bunch of them using Graphic 45's "A
Proper Gentleman" paper line. Please bring scissors, pop dots and double stick
tape.

If you'd like to make a bunch of great
cards in a quick 2 hours, this is the class for you! From January - June you'll
make 5 of each of 3 different all occasion cards (July - December are focused on
the Holidays). Plus you'll learn some new techniques along the way. Please bring double stick tape, scissors, glue dots, your colored pencils, jewel
tone chalks and paper stumps.

Sharle saw a paper quilted card and immediately fell
in love. Let her show you this wonderful technique and you'll never throw away
another scrap of paper. Please bring double stick tape and
scissors.

Joyce wants to show you some other ways to get
the look of watercolor painting with your stamped images. You'll need
watercolor pencils (not regular colored pencils) water based markers like Tombow
or LePlume, and a small paint brush. Please note that the techniques learned in
this class are not the same as the Art Impressions style of watercolor.
Tunisian Crochet Sampler

Join Geralyn for this special class &
learn a lovely fiber technique. Tunisian Crochet is done with a type of crochet
hook but looks like knitting. We're including a skein of gorgeous Punta Cotton
yarn for you to use but please bring a tunsian crochet hook size G. No knitting
or crochet experience required!
Dimensional Cards with Phyllis

Phyllis is pulling out all the stops this month with
both a flower punch art card and another featuring paper piercing. Sign up for
this class and you're going to learn a lot! Please bring your Flower Punch Tool
Kit, foam mat, fine piercing needle and cutting mat along with scissors and
double stick tape.

We got lots of great feedback on the Tim's
Techniques class we offered in May so Joyce decided she wants to show you some
more! Once again we'll incorporate these into tags you can keep for future
reference or add to a card and send to someone special! Please bring the
Blending Tool with 4 or 5 foam attachments. You'll also need scissors, pop dots
and a small paintbrush.
Memory Glass Pendants June 12, Saturday2:30 - 4:30pm$23 or June 15, Tuesday1:00 - 3:00pm
Beth had great fun putting together her two
beautiful pendants and you will, too! Learn to stamp on glass, color with
alcohol inks and add some bead embellishments. Please bring an alcohol ink
applicator to class with a few felt squares. Please note that you'll make 2 pendants in this class!
Artist Trading Card Workshop & Swap June 13, Sunday1:00 - 3:00pm$5 More fun with artist trading cards. ATCs are playing card sized works of art meant to trade - never to sell. There will be an ATC round robin where you'll swap your creations with the class so be sure to bring 10 ATCs with you. This month's theme is "Nature/Animals". Please bring basic stamping supplies including paper trimmer. This is a great group - you've just gotta love these gals!
Art Impressions Watercolor Stamping

Impressions, Joyce will show you how to turn your stamping into watercolor works
of art. You'll do 2 cards with a touch of the beach.. Please bring your water

paintbrush size 4 or 5.
Scrapbooking - The Song of Spring

met Beverly at the ScrapStampArtTour and fell in love with her work. You've
probably seen plenty of her cards in books and magazines so don't miss this
opportunity to learn from the expert! In her first class, Beverly will teach
you lots of techniques using 2 of Magenta's new stencils and then 2 of their new
stamps. This class will be primarily technique driven so be sure to bring paper
and pencil for notes along with double stick tape, scissors, foam squares and
1/2" stencil brush. A white gel pen may also come in handy.

Aran Afghan Square of the Month

Join Janet once each month in making this gorgeous afghan. You'll learn
one or 2 squares each month for a total of 20. The pattern book is
included in the class fee. Each square calls for a skein of Encore
Worsted and you can save 20% by ordering all the yarn in advance (plus
be assured of your color and dye lot choice). You'll need to bring
size 7 needles, stitch markers, and a cable needle. This is a
beautiful throw and you'll enjoy learning all the new stitches!
Stamp Club

If
you love to stamp, you'll love this group! The last Monday of every
month, you'll enjoy a card exchange and a technique workshop. This
month's theme is "The Arts" so please bring 7 of your own to swap and your
basic stamping tool kit. New members are welcome!
IMPORTANT: Students enjoy a
10% discount on items purchased the day of their class or for any items
needed for a class but purchased ahead of time. You may call to
register for classes but must pay at the time of registration. Class
fees are nonrefundable but may be applied to another class if you
cancel by 7:00pm the day before the class. We reserve the right to
cancel classes without adequate participants and will notify you as
soon as possible if that should be necessary. Your payment will be
refunded if that should occur.
